Bruninho Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Cabral in the 17th minute of play. Cristian Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruninho Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. If Ramiro Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tiago Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hugo Almeida made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, MARTS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Domingues to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boqueirao F.C's goalkeeper Tiago Macedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Boqueirao F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Prestes came free, but Tiago Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Nicolas Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiago Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Prestes in the 63rd minute of the match. MARTS's Bruninho Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Batista in the 65th minute of play. Nicolas Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Almeida in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Macedo saved Boqueirao F.C from getting behind. Tiago Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Nicolas Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the MARTS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Prestes couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Nicolas Prestes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MARTS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Prestes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Macedo was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. The supporters of MARTS booed when Boqueirao F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Prestes in the 92nd minute of the match.
