Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Dalmo Almeida successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitinho Bastos in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmo Almeida saved Ludovico FC from getting behind. Ludovico FC's Dalmo Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Bastos in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ludovico FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kiko Terra was slow to take the kick. During this time Expressinho Tricolor's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Kiko Terra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ludovico FC's Dalmo Almeida did a great save. 23 minutes in the game, Acácio Pontes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dalmo Almeida having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Ludovico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Bastos came free, but Dalmo Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Catarinense hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Acácio Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Almeida having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Acácio Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ludovico FC! Ludovico FC:s Dalmo Almeida showed great skill when he stopped Kiko Terra:s penalty. Expressinho Tricolor were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Ludovico FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kiko Terra took the corner. Expressinho Tricolor's Kiko Terra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dalmo Almeida in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 63 minutes into the game, one of Ludovico FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Expressinho Tricolor a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kiko Terra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ludovico FC's Dalmo Almeida. 1-0. Acácio Pontes scored 2-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Noel Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Veloso having to interfere. Dalmo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Pontes in the 97th minute of the match. Dalmo Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Pontes in the 99th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Expressinho Tricolor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
