After a rather tough play, Brusque Futebol Clube's Luizinho de Sena got a free kick in the 24th minute. The long shot by Serginho Moraes in the 28th minute really tested Dalmo Almeida's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Guilherme Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Dalmo Almeida made a huge save. After 40 minutes, Frédson Albuquerque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ludovico FC and the Brusque Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frédson Albuquerque hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Dalmo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Tavares in the 43rd minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júlio Tavares was the one to do the kick off. The Brusque Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ludovico FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ludovico FC.
