Itacaja SS's Delfim Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mathias da Costa struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Donato Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selefla. Raí Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Donato Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Selefla booed when Itacaja SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Raí Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Selefla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raí Quadros couldn't finish the play. Davi Saraiva shot from long distance in the 32nd minute, but Donato Mazza was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Itacaja SS's Donato Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias da Costa in the 33rd minute of play. Delfim Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delfim Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Itacaja SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Mathias da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathias da Costa made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Mathias da Costa made a precise shot to the right of Donato Mazza. Itacaja SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 58th minute, Mathias da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Davi Saraiva sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Itacaja SS's Donato Mazza didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Itacaja SS's zone, Mathias da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Mazza came out of the goal and Mathias da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th match minute, Itacaja SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Mateus da Fonseca hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Donato Mazza didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Selefla's Raí Quadros shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Selefla's Raí Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Selefla were the better team.
