Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hugo Almeida took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nicolas Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdir Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Berigui getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Michel Aguiar hit a great ball. Kiko Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Arósio having to interfere. Valdir Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Hugo Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Valdir Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruninho Arósio made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Kiko Cabral sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute Joélson Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruninho Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kiko Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Almeida struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Valdir Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MARTS. Valdir Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Prestes in the 38th minute of play. Nicolas Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Valdir Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Lopez having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Kiko Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Bruninho Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Ernani Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes, Berigui's Claudinei de Mendonça shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruninho Arósio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Berigui reached it. Percival Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Valdir Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joélson Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdir Lopez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Almeida's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Kiko Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Berigui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiko Cabral couldn't finish the play. MARTS's Bruninho Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Arruda in the 82nd minute of play. Berigui's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claudinei de Mendonça in the 84th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Hugo Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MARTS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berigui the free kick. In the 89th match minute, MARTS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Almeida to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 90 minutes, Kiko Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berigui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiko Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruninho Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joélson Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiko Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Bruninho Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
