Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristian Batista kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Barranquinho booed when Boqueirao F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magno Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisão de Sousa during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Boqueirao F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luisão de Sousa. Rogério Peixoto might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Macedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogério Peixoto ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafa Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tiago Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ramiro Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Boqueirao F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Cabral couldn't finish the play. Rafa Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Macedo having to interfere. A collision led to Boqueirao F.C getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Luisão de Sousa hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Boqueirao F.C's Ramiro Cabral got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ramiro Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boqueirao F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Augusto Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 29 minutes, Ramiro Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boqueirao F.C and the Barranquinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Boqueirao F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Cabral. Rogério Peixotos short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Tiago Macedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Boqueirao F.C's Tiago Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Neves in the 33rd minute of play. When Rafa Neves came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Barranquinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafa Neves couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Boqueirao F.C's Zézinho Castro got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 47 played minutes Barranquinho got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Peixoto. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafa Neves was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Barranquinho's Rogério Peixoto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Macedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ramiro Cabral struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Pedro Augusto Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boqueirao F.C. In the 63rd minute, Remo Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boqueirao F.C's Tiago Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Neves in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Boqueirao F.C getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Cristian Batista hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Rafa Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barranquinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After having played for 80 minutes, Rafa Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barranquinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafa Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute, Rogério Peixoto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Macedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 85th minute, Rogério Peixoto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafa Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiago Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 minutes of play, Barranquinho's Rafa Neves made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Macedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barranquinho's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
