The supporters of Capote FC booed when Catetumbes F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Teodoro Tasso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamílton Luz, 1-0. Arí Félix struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Hélio Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catetumbes F.C.. Arí Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 played minutes Catetumbes F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Valladares. If Arí Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. With his leg Hélio Quadros managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Catetumbes F.C.'s Arí Félix fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hamílton Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio de Salles in the 75th minute of play. Arí Félix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Hélio Quadros made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Capote FC's Ernani Dias got a free kick in the 79th minute. Humberto Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 84 in the game by Arí Félix from a close distance when the talented Hélio Quadros managed to make a qualified save. Capote FC's players were relieved. Hélio Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Maurício Cunha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Catetumbes F.C. played a much better game than Capote FC and deserved their victory. The Capote FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
