Charles Secco scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Luís Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Guilherme Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Riograndense FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BAGACERA throughout the match.
