After having played for 3 minutes, Samuca Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blu3FNX FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuca Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Samuca Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, Blu3FNX FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Paes to maneuver through the defense. When Hortêncio Eger came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Riograndense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Eger couldn't finish the play. Agnaldo Hermes struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Renatinho Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riograndense FC. 28 minutes into the game, Hélder Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riograndense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blu3FNX FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Riograndense FC's Hélder Costa got a free kick in the 28th minute. Agnaldo Hermes charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agnaldo Hermes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Riograndense FC got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Hermes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hortêncio Eger during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hortêncio Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Riograndense FC's Hortêncio Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Blu3FNX FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Riograndense FC were winning 0-1.

Hortêncio Eger who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Renatinho Silva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pedro Luís Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Bastos in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Blu3FNX FC's Osvaldinho Cosme got a free kick in the 66th minute. Samuca Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Magalhães having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Riograndense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Bastos came free, but Pedro Luís Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio Eger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Renatinho Silva made a huge save. The supporters of Blu3FNX FC booed when Riograndense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Riograndense FC's Hortêncio Eger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The Blu3FNX FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Riograndense FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
