After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Filipe Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cara de Pau FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Prado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Augusto Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Paulo Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Pedro Paulo Pombal took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for João Augusto Santana to make any attempt to save it. Wesley Pereira struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Sadettin Tayman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oiteiras AD. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cara de Pau FC's goalkeeper Sadettin Tayman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Paulo Pombal to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Pedro Paulo Pombal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. When Pedro Paulo Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Cara de Pau FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Paulo Pombal couldn't finish the play. Wesley Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wesley Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sadettin Tayman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Alojz Jágerský mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cara de Pau FC and the Oiteiras AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cara de Pau FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Paulo Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Oiteiras AD's zone, Pedro Paulo Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto Santana came out of the goal and Pedro Paulo Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wesley Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wesley Pereira hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. João Augusto Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cara de Pau FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
