But to his dismay, Arnaldo Saraiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Canada Goose F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Saraiva came free, but Murilo Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnaldo Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Canada Goose F.C.'s Murilo Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Saraiva in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Canada Goose F.C. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Yuri Rocha hit a great ball. 0-2 became the score in the 29th minute when Arnaldo Saraiva elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luís Gustavo Silveira hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Arósio having to interfere. Arnaldo Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualter Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murilo Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Canada Goose F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Saraiva came free, but Murilo Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 48 played minutes S. E. Roca got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Silveira. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yuri Rocha to make the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Arnaldo Saraiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canada Goose F.C.'s Murilo Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gualter Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Murilo Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. S. E. Roca's Arnaldo Saraiva got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Canada Goose F.C.'s Murilo Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Canada Goose F.C. from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualter Gonçalves got free with Murilo Arósio in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gualter Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. S. E. Roca's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arnaldo Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Gualter Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S. E. Roca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The S. E. Roca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing S. E. Roca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
