A wasted opportunity for Cara de Pau FC. Benê Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Eduardo de Queiroz having to make a save. Sadettin Tayman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was a penalty for Cara de Pau FC! In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Taquaril FC. Rafinha Moreno stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sadettin Tayman. 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Taquaril FC's zone, Benê Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Eduardo de Queiroz came out of the goal and Benê Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sadettin Tayman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Prado in the 96th minute of the match. The Taquaril FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
