AC Torino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S. E. Roca the free kick. A collision led to AC Torino getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Doni Nogueira hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Claudinho Saldanha sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Fausto Neves threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Claudinho Saldanha this time. After a long run with the ball, Téo Loureiro did a trick in the 25th minute in front of S. E. Roca's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-1. An impressive performance by AC Torino's Téo Loureiro! After 27 played minutes AC Torino got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz Urbano. After having played for 32 minutes, Luís Gustavo Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Torino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gustavo Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th match minute, S. E. Roca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Koehler to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Luís Gustavo Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Saraiva made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind S. E. Roca's goalkeeper Gerson Terra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, S. E. Roca's Arnaldo Saraiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AC Torino's Luís Gustavo Travassos pulled a muscle in his leg after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ediberto Salles fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S. E. Roca's protests and gave Ediberto Salles a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S. E. Roca! Gerson Terra went to the wrong direction when Téo Loureiro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Roca's Caco Freire shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fausto Neves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S. E. Roca reached it. Arnaldo Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Lago in the 94th minute of play forced S. E. Roca's goalkeeper Gerson Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualter Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Neves having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AC Torino had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
