When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fellipe Domingues made a kick off. A collision led to Beverini getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Cristian Severo hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Fellipe Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio das Neves in the 63rd minute of play forced Taquaril FC's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acácio Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Luís Eduardo de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 83rd minute of the match Vladimir Sampaio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vladimir Sampaio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 83 played minutes Beverini got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Sampaio. The supporters of Beverini booed when Taquaril FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luís Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball.
