Spectators: 6924 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benedito Prado took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Maia in the 3rd minute of play forced Oiteiras AD's goalkeeper João Augusto Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Wesley Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oiteiras AD's João Augusto Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Maia in the 9th minute of play. João Augusto Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Pedro Luís Lira fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taquaril FC's protests and gave Pedro Luís Lira a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Luís Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Wesley Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Eduardo de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Lago in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the Oiteiras AD defense, Benedito Prado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Augusto Santana. The Oiteiras AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Augusto Santana should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute Wesley Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Eduardo de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Pereira in the 33rd minute of play. Humberto Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Luís Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Luís Eduardo de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taquaril FC's Nico Freitas pulled a muscle in his leg after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luís Lago during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Oiteiras AD getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sílvio Luís Lago hit a great ball. The Oiteiras AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Taquaril FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wesley Pereira to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Oiteiras AD getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Zeca Ramalho hit a great ball. Rafinha Moreno, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, José Augusto Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taquaril FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Augusto Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Augusto Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wesley Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. João Augusto Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Wesley Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Humberto Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Wesley Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Augusto Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto Santana having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oiteiras AD's Sílvio Luís Lago got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 76th match minute, Oiteiras AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luís Lago to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Wesley Pereira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Eduardo de Queiroz was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Wesley Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Luís Eduardo de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Humberto Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Oiteiras AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luís Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Luís Eduardo de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Wesley Pereira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Taquaril FC's Luís Eduardo de Queiroz. Luís Eduardo de Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
