Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Caio de Castro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th match minute, Piratiny SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovânio Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Caio de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Roberto Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falcão Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jano Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Eurico Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Brasil in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Piratiny SC's goal looked a bit too open when Caio de Castro came free, but Roberto Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Juvenal Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Canutama's Eurico Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Brasil in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juvenal Brasil in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eurico Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eurico Trigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Lopez went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 43 played minutes Canutama got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Vianna. Eurico Trigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juvenal Brasil's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Juvenal Brasil made the kick off in the second half. Juvenal Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Eurico Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jano Torres fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canutama's protests and gave Jano Torres a yellow card for diving instead. Jano Torres hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Mauro Lopez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Eurico Trigo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 67 minutes, Falcão Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canutama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Jacinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caio de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Roberto Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piratiny SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canutama the free kick. 71 minutes into the game, one of Piratiny SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Juvenal Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eurico Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Lopez in the 78th minute. After 82 minutes of play Piratiny SC's Geovânio Godoi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Geovânio Godoi hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Mauro Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Piratiny SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Lopez couldn't finish the play. Valdo Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdo Nunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Piratiny SC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Valdo Nunes hit a great ball. Mauro Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Eurico Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 100th minute, Mauro Lopez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eurico Trigo, passed just outside the right post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
