Oaken Eleven's Jefferson Rossi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Iuri da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute João Adolfo Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Oaken Eleven defense, Cláudio Dionísio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Aparecido. The Oaken Eleven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Aparecido should have stopped the shot. The long shot by Filipe Santana in the 26th minute really tested Raimundo Almeida's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cícero Veloso in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Aparecido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jefferson Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iuri da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Rueiros got a freekick which was hit by Manoel de Sousa. 40 minutes into the match, Cícero Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Aparecido. Oaken Eleven's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cícero Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jefferson Rossi got free with Raimundo Almeida in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Cláudio Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Iuri da Cunha made the kick off in the second half. If Iuri da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Roberto Aparecido was a little too slow when Cláudio Dionísio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 2-3. Roberto Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Dionísio in the 64th minute of play. Jefferson Rossi scored 3-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 78 played minutes Oaken Eleven got a freekick which was hit by Iuri da Cunha. 79 minutes into the match, Cícero Veloso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roberto Aparecido, 3-4. In the 82nd minute, Cláudio Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Váldson Valadares put in a rough tackle. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Rueiros. Dudu Aparecido stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roberto Aparecido. 3-5. A collision led to Oaken Eleven getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. João Adolfo Saraiva hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rueiros eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
