Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ezequiel Guimarães started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Nunes in the 5th minute of play forced Tocantinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Eurico Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Juvenal Brasil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tocantinense F.C.'s Eurico Toscano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luciano Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tocantinense F.C.'s Caio Vargas got a free kick in the 11th minute. Piratiny SC's André Luiz Loyola couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tocantinense F.C.. If Juvenal Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurico Toscano came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Piratiny SC's Mauro Lopez. But to his dismay, Mauro Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Piratiny SC's Roberto Lago got control of the ball when Josué Penha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Eurico Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mauro Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Juvenal Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Mauro Lopez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eurico Toscano. Tocantinense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Lopez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Murillo Meira shot from long distance in the 40th minute, but Roberto Lago was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Mauro Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tocantinense F.C.'s Eurico Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Lopez in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juvenal Brasil to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Tocantinense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Salgado. Juvenal Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Eurico Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Lopez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Eurico Toscano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luciano Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Tocantinense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Salgado. After a defensive mix-up in Tocantinense F.C.'s zone, Juvenal Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eurico Toscano came out of the goal and Juvenal Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Tocantinense F.C. defense, Mauro Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eurico Toscano. The Tocantinense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eurico Toscano should have stopped the shot. Piratiny SC were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Tocantinense F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. André Luiz Loyola took the corner. After taking down the ball on Piratiny SC's corner Oswaldo Torres fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eurico Toscano quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Lopez got free with Eurico Toscano in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 73 played minutes, Piratiny SC's André Luiz Loyola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eurico Toscano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piratiny SC reached it. Eurico Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal Brasil in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Mauro Lopez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurico Toscano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Mauro Lopez struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Eurico Toscano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piratiny SC. Eurico Toscano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. If Juvenal Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Tocantinense F.C. defense, Mauro Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eurico Toscano. The Tocantinense F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eurico Toscano should have stopped the shot. If Juvenal Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes of play Tocantinense F.C.'s Luciano Salgado was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Luciano Salgado hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Piratiny SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
