Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dieguinho Pontes made the kick off which started today's match. Dieguinho Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Váldson Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potiguara SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Váldson Trigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Canutama's Jano Torres got a free kick in the 8th minute. Váldson Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Potiguara SS's goalkeeper Breno Ribeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dieguinho Pontes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eurico Trigo came out and tried to block the shot, but Dieguinho Pontes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. In the 21st match minute, Canutama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Torres to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes in the game, Dieguinho Pontes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eurico Trigo having to interfere. Canutama's Falcão Jacinto got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Váldson Trigo got free with Eurico Trigo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Váldson Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Eurico Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dieguinho Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Trigo having to interfere. Váldson Trigo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Eurico Trigo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caio de Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. Eurico Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson Trigo in the 53rd minute of play. Dieguinho Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Trigo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Pontes in the 67th minute of play forced Canutama's goalkeeper Eurico Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canutama's Eurico Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Váldson Trigo in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Falcão Jacinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Breno Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Váldson Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Trigo having to interfere. Falcão Jacintos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Breno Ribeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Potiguara SS booed when Canutama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jano Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eurico Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson Trigo in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieguinho Pontes in the 94th minute of play forced Canutama's goalkeeper Eurico Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Ribeiro having to interfere. The Potiguara SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Canutama's performance. The match ended with a win for Canutama.
