The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Augusto Vianna during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Canutama's Carlos Augusto Vianna got a free kick in the 7th minute. FC Internazionale!'s Magno Teixeira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Canutama. After 11 played minutes Canutama got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Alvarenga. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão Jacinto got free with Eliézer Fantini in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eliézer Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Jacinto in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Cacá Pitta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Trigo having to interfere. If Caio de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Caio de Castro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eliézer Fantini to make any attempt to save it. After 35 played minutes Caio de Castro rounded FC Internazionale!'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Falcão Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Fantini having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Jano Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canutama's supporters rose to their feet, but Jano Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliézer Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caio de Castro to make the kick off. Caio de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Canutama's Eurico Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Canutama from getting a goal against them. If Caio de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Internazionale! getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Zé Roberto Pombal hit a great ball. Cacá Pitta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eurico Trigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cacá Pitta got free with Eurico Trigo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 minutes of play, FC Internazionale!'s Zé Roberto Pombal made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eurico Trigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cacá Pitta in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eurico Trigo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 82nd minute, Falcão Jacinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canutama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Internazionale!'s goalkeeper Eliézer Fantini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gustavo Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Trigo having to interfere. Canutama's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
