Agnaldo Vaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Hugo Cerezo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Aparecido was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Hugo Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Aparecido having to interfere. The corner ended in Mateus Camargo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Oaken Eleven's Roberto Aparecido did a great save. Jefferson Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Vaz having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Marristive F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Iuri da Cunha came free, but Agnaldo Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agnaldo Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Jefferson Rossi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Furlan couldn't finish the play.
