Hudson Barral had several of the Oaken Eleven's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Roberto Aparecido as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Iuri da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Iuri da Cunha made the kick off in the second half. The Oaken Eleven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Aparecido should have stopped the shot. Iuri da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
