Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Caio de Castro kicked off to start the match. Falcão Jacinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimundo Almeida having to make a save. Cláudio Dionísio struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Eurico Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rueiros. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Vítor Alvarenga during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Canutama's Eurico Trigo got control of the ball when Cícero Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eurico Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Dionísio in the 14th minute of play. Caio de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eurico Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Borges in the 29th minute of play. Falcão Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Raimundo Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Cláudio Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Canutama defense, Yuri Baptista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eurico Trigo. The Canutama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eurico Trigo should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Rueiros's goal looked a bit too open when Caio de Castro came free, but Raimundo Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cícero Veloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cláudio Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the match, Canutama's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Veloso came free, but Eurico Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Baptista in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Cláudio Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Cícero Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rueiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Cícero Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 minutes of play, Rueiros's Cláudio Dionísio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eurico Trigo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernani Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Eurico Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Dionísio took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eurico Trigo. Eurico Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Caio de Castro hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Eurico Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Veloso in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Caio de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canutama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caio de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eurico Trigo came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Rueiros's Cláudio Dionísio. But to his dismay, Cláudio Dionísio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Cláudio Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rueiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Dionísio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Canutama's Eurico Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Veloso in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rueiros fully deserved thier win.
