Mark Molin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evandro Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Trigo having to interfere. Mark Molin was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Caio de Castro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Caio de Castro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Walmir Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canutama's protests and gave Walmir Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gabs Football Club booed when Canutama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eurico Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Türker Gençoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evandro Saldanha in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eurico Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Gabs Football Club's Miguel Mattos in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canutama's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute, Evandro Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Gabs Football Club's Nilmar Antunes got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Caio de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eurico Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Saldanha in the 39th minute of the match. Miguel Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Caio de Castro made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Miguel Mattos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eurico Trigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 55th match minute, Gabs Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Pena to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th match minute, Gabs Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilmar Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Nilmar Antunes hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the match Faustão Porto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Molin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Gabs Football Club defense, Falcão Jacinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Molin. The Gabs Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Molin should have stopped the shot. Eurico Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Canutama's Eurico Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Canutama from getting a goal against them. After 79 minutes, Caio de Castro made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gabs Football Club's Mark Molin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Falcão Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Canutama booed when Gabs Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Falcão Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurico Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Saldanha in the 92nd minute of play. Gabs Football Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
