After 3 played minutes Hudson Barral rounded Potiguara SS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Nilton Félix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joélson Pires went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Potiguara SS's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Miranda came free, but Breno Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Potiguara SS booed when Mega Hertz FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luiz Rosado hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes in the game Jairo Pimenta got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. In the 27th minute, Benedito Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute of the match Adhemar Domingues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Breno Ribeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hudson Barral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Breno Ribeiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hudson Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Pires in the 47th minute of play forced Mega Hertz FS's goalkeeper Nilton Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dieguinho Pontes made a kick off. Joélson Pires hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Adhemar Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adhemar Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Potiguara SS booed when Mega Hertz FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breno Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mega Hertz FS's Hudson Barral in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Potiguara SS's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Potiguara SS's zone, Elano Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Ribeiro came out of the goal and Elano Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Breno Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Potiguara SS's Breno Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hudson Barral in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Miranda in the 81st minute of play forced Potiguara SS's goalkeeper Breno Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breno Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hudson Barral's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Elano Miranda struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Breno Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mega Hertz FS. After a defensive mix-up in Potiguara SS's zone, Hudson Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Ribeiro came out of the goal and Hudson Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Mega Hertz FS's Adhemar Domingues got a free kick in the 90th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hudson Barral in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Breno Ribeiro saved Potiguara SS from getting behind. Mega Hertz FS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
