Luizinho Amaral came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s Christiano Cardozo. But to his dismay, Christiano Cardozo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 10 minutes, Pedro Augusto Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galaticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Augusto Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Augusto Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Décio Guedes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Augusto Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. Percy Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Décio Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Décio Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Augusto Monteiro went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Zézinho Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s protests and gave Zézinho Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Galaticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Perez to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes Galaticos got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Antunes. In the 34th minute, Ediberto Neto made a precise shot to the right of Décio Guedes. ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Christiano Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christiano Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Amaral having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After a defensive mix-up in ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s zone, Ediberto Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Décio Guedes came out of the goal and Ediberto Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Décio Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Neto in the 55th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Ediberto Neto sped through ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Décio Guedes. 66 minutes into the match, Galaticos's Ediberto Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Décio Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 67 played minutes ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦ got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Mazza. Ediberto Neto struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Décio Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galaticos. During the 73rd minute of the match Zézinho Cardoso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zézinho Cardoso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Zézinho Cardoso hit a great ball. Décio Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Neto in the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ediberto Neto in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the match, ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Neto came free, but Décio Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Décio Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Neto in the 87th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Ediberto Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Décio Guedes. ✦ Mr. Anonymous Team ✦'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ediberto Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Galaticos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
