Spectators: 7309 (Terracing: 5483, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tarcisio Barral started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Mattosinhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Loyola to maneuver through the defense. When Tarcisio Barral came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mattosinhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarcisio Barral couldn't finish the play. Laércio Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio Barral in the 13th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Luciano Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mattosinhos's zone, Júlio Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Camargo came out of the goal and Júlio Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Salgado in the 23rd minute of play. Enéas Trancoso took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frank Camargo. Frank Camargo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 28thth minute of the game Delfim Salgado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mattosinhos's Frank Camargo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Camargo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Enéas Trancoso sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th match minute, Mattosinhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Barral to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mattosinhos's zone, Enéas Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Camargo came out of the goal and Enéas Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mattosinhos's Frank Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Salgado in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Frank Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Delfim Salgado got free in front of the goal in the 55th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Frank Camargo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Christiano Salles fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mattosinhos's protests and gave Christiano Salles a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of M VALOS FC booed when Mattosinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. M VALOS FC's Delfim Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mattosinhos's zone, Enéas Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Camargo came out of the goal and Enéas Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Delfim Salgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Camargo was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Christiano Salles hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Delfim Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. M VALOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delfim Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th match minute, M VALOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Messias to maneuver through the defense. Mattosinhos's Frank Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Salgado in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mattosinhos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristiano Mangueira was slow to take the kick. During this time M VALOS FC's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Enéas Trancoso drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Mattosinhos's goalkeeper. Júlio Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Delfim Salgado put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Frank Camargo. Frank Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Gustavo Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Salgado in the 93rd minute of the match. José Carlos de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Frank Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When M VALOS FC's Delfim Salgado in 95 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Frank Camargo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in.
