Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elói Capixaba kicked off to start the match. After 6 minutes, Inácio Porto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabajara and the Felizburgo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inácio Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes in the game, Maurício Mello dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. João Gabriel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Maicon Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Elói Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tabajara's Rafa Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Mello in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Felizburgo's Luiz Eduardo Moura got control of the ball when João Gabriel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adrianinho Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. João Gabriel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Moura having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, one of Felizburgo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Geovânio Bastos shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Elói Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Maicon Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Paes having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Maurício Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafa Paes was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Capixaba in the 60th minute of play forced Felizburgo's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Felizburgo's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Eduardo Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Porto in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
