Spectators: 7331 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) Valdo da Cunha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Xanere's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Massa came free, but Rogério Cenić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes Devitte FC got a freekick which was hit by Caco Sanches. When Cícero Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Xanere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cícero Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero Breckenfeld in the 15th minute of play forced Devitte FC's goalkeeper Geraldo Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo da Cunha scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Cenić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20thth minute of the game Cícero Breckenfeld who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Devitte FC's Geraldo Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Paulinho Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Devitte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Júlio de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xanere's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo Soeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlio de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júlio de Barros succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 36th playminute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cícero Breckenfeld stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Betão Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Valdo da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Cenić having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Júlio de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xanere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Paulinho Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Devitte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xanere the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulinho Massa got free with Rogério Cenić in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Devitte FC's Geraldo Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio de Barros in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Délio Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Devitte FC's Valdo da Cunha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Devitte FC's Paulinho Massa got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geraldo Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio de Barros in the 95th minute of play. Benjamin Pontes charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Pontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Xanere's Benjamin Pontes got a free kick in the 98th minute.
