Felizburgo's Luiz Eduardo Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Mendes in the 15th minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Mendes in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Moisés Lago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nexus Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Emerson Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Maicon Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. A collision led to Felizburgo getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Adrianinho Zonta hit a great ball. Adrianinho Zonta's late challenge caught a Nexus Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrianinho Zonta helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Felizburgo's Adrianinho Zonta got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Lira in the 69th minute of play forced Nexus Club's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Felizburgo's zone, Juninho Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Eduardo Moura came out of the goal and Juninho Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nexus Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
