After a defensive mix-up in Pratas da Casa FC's zone, João Gabriel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Goiano came out of the goal and João Gabriel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Pratas da Casa FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Gabriel came free, but Marcus Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Elói Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Gabriel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pratas da Casa FC's zone, João Gabriel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Goiano came out of the goal and João Gabriel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto de Queirós hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes, Tabajara's Silvério Zonta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcus Goiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tabajara reached it. In the 33rd minute, Fred Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes Tabajara got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Bastos. Humberto de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Rafa Paes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pratas da Casa FC.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elói Capixaba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elói Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Elói Capixaba took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Marcus Goiano to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Gabriel got free with Marcus Goiano in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Gabriel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Marcus Goiano made a huge save. William Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tabajara's Inácio Porto got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tabajara had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
