With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Goiano didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Queimabota FC's Nico da Fonseca shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 26th minute Carlos Fernando Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nico da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Toninho Branco threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pratas da Casa FC's Adilson Torres quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Pratas da Casa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Goiano should have stopped the shot. Carlos Fernando Camargo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Queimabota FC had played much better football throughout.
