Luiz Eduardo Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maicon Lira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Ruy Cardoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 20th minute Maurício Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Felizburgo's Maurício Mello in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santoryu FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ramiro Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Luiz Eduardo Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Santoryu FC's Régis Negri in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Felizburgo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute, Maicon Lira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 43 played minutes Santoryu FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Negri. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

54 minutes into the match, Maicon Lira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruy Cardoso. Santoryu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maicon Lira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ruy Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Lira in the 60th minute of play. If Ramiro Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Maurício Mello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Felizburgo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Maicon Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Cardoso having to interfere. Ruy Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maicon Lira's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. If Maurício Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Lira came free, but Ruy Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Régis Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th match minute, Felizburgo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Luiz Eduardo Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santoryu FC's Régis Negri got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ramiro Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santoryu FC's Ruy Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Lira in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Maicon Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Felizburgo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maicon Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felizburgo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Santoryu FC for a fine match.
