An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro da Fonseca in the 27th minute of play forced Dragoes da Real FC's goalkeeper Arí Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fabiano Dracena during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldão de Salles got free with Arí Pinho in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Queixo Juniors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
