When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evandro da Fonseca made a kick off. Ronaldão de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Mineiro having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evandro da Fonseca in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enio Mineiro saved Kowa FC from getting behind. Róbson Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo José Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Wágner Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kowa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute of the match Cesinha Falcão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Róbson Abraão skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Queixo Juniors booed when Kowa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeu Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th match minute, Kowa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After 88 played minutes, Queixo Juniors's João Barbosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enio Mineiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Queixo Juniors reached it. Enio Mineiro came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Queixo Juniors's Evandro da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Evandro da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.
