Anísio Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Róbson Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Róbson Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Massa in the 7th minute of the match. Evandro da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Queixo Juniors booed when DJHOUS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro da Fonseca in the 12th minute of play forced DJHOUS FC's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Queixo Juniors's goalkeeper Róbson Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho de Queiroz. In the 18th minute, Luiz Fabiano Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DJHOUS FC's Teodoro Araújo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 19th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Róbson Abraão but with some difficulty. In the 26th minute of the match Luiz Furlan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldinho Pinheiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Róbson Abraão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldinho de Queiroz went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Luiz Fabiano Dracena's late challenge caught a DJHOUS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Fabiano Dracena helped the player get up and apologised. 38 minutes into the game, Queixo Juniors's Ronaldão de Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldinho Pinheiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Luiz Fabiano Dracena hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anísio Massa to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Luiz Fabiano Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbson Abraão having to interfere. Anísio Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldão de Salles got free with Ronaldinho Pinheiro in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, João Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evandro da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ronaldinho Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queixo Juniors. 81 minutes into the match, Ronaldão de Salles notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of DJHOUS FC's Ronaldinho Pinheiro. Ronaldinho Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronaldão de Salles scored 2-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldinho Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronaldão de Salles was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Queixo Juniors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
