Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anísio Massa got the match started through his kick off. Paulo José Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ronaldinho Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldinho de Queiroz took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enio Mineiro. Enio Mineiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 10th minute, Wágner Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kowa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Wágner Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronaldinho Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo José Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute of the match DJHOUS FC got a corner. Kowa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teodoro Araújo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led DJHOUS FC's Gino Teles to fire away a dangerous shot which Enio Mineiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Wágner Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Narciso Amaral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kowa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Anísio Massa's late challenge caught a Kowa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anísio Massa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, DJHOUS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Massa to maneuver through the defense. Wágner Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Pinheiro having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo José Amaral in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldinho Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 48th minute Wágner Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Kowa FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo José Amaral made a kick off. Paulo José Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Pinheiro having to interfere. If Anísio Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cícero Botelho fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kowa FC's protests and gave Cícero Botelho a yellow card for diving instead. Cícero Botelho hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ronaldinho Pinheiro was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Paulo José Amaral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo José Amaral really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo José Amaral in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldinho Pinheiro saved DJHOUS FC from getting behind. Ronaldinho Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Amaral in the 71st minute of play. Sebastião Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to DJHOUS FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Sebastião Romero hit a great ball. The supporters of DJHOUS FC booed when Kowa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeu Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldinho Pinheiro made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Wágner Pereira sent off a good shot on target. When Anísio Massa came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the DJHOUS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anísio Massa couldn't finish the play. Ronaldinho de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Mineiro having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Kowa FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Amaral. A well-hit corner resulted in André Luiz de Lima heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 95th minute, Wágner Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The DJHOUS FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kowa FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Kowa FC.
