The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Róbson Abraão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 44 minutes, Joel Xavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colas F.C and the Queixo Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Colas F.C getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Joel Xavier hit a great ball. When Colas F.C's Romário Saraiva in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Queixo Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evandro da Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colas F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Romário Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbson Abraão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Róbson Abraão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romário Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeu Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbson Abraão having to interfere. Róbson Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo Koehler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldão de Salles hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Romeu Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colas F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeu Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colas F.C's Romário Saraiva got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeu Simões struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Róbson Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colas F.C. After 90 played minutes Queixo Juniors got a freekick which was hit by João Barbosa. The audience was convinced that Adelino Saraiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Róbson Abraão was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Romário Saraiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colas F.C were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
