Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Dida Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, one of Gaucho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gaucho. With a little luck, Gaucho's Ulysses Correia got control of the ball when Luís Paulo Diniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 23 played minutes Dinei Chaves rounded Gaucho's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 32nd match minute, Gaucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Ulysses Correia was a little too slow when Dinei Chaves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 3-0. After 39 played minutes Mackenzie College FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Viana. Dinei Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dinei Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Correia having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dida Vander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaucho's goalkeeper Ulysses Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Chaves in the 55th minute of play forced Gaucho's goalkeeper Ulysses Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulysses Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Paulo Diniz's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. If Dinei Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulysses Correia came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Mackenzie College FC's Dinei Chaves. But to his dismay, Dinei Chaves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 68th match minute, Mackenzie College FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Gaucho's zone, Luís Paulo Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulysses Correia came out of the goal and Luís Paulo Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Gaucho's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Chaves came free, but Ulysses Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Zézinho Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Gaucho getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Giovanni Pinheiro hit a great ball. Ulysses Correia came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Mackenzie College FC's Dinei Chaves. But to his dismay, Dinei Chaves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 91 minutes, Oséias Damião mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mackenzie College FC and the Gaucho players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mackenzie College FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Oséias Damião hit a great ball. Luís Paulo Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Mackenzie College FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
