Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tiago Gabriel Ferraz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Caraiuva's Gerson Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Ferraz in the 3rd minute of play. Gerson Valadares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Gabriel Ferraz's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Rui Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Sabóia having to interfere. Caraiuva's Albertinho Terra came free and shot a quick shot against goal 10 minutes in the game, fortunately Sydney Sabóia had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After having played for 12 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FAMILIA TORRECILHAS 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Gabriel Ferraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albertinho Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Sabóia having to interfere. Rui Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerson Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Gabriel Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Brito Torrecillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 29th play minutes Albertinho Terra shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Sydney Sabóia and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Chaves in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th match minute, FAMILIA TORRECILHAS 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brito Torrecillas in the 39th minute of play forced Caraiuva's goalkeeper Gerson Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FAMILIA TORRECILHAS 4EVER's Fabinho Tinoco got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd match minute, FAMILIA TORRECILHAS 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tostão Pereira to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Chaves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rui Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sydney Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Caraiuva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Duarte to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Caraiuva's João de Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sydney Sabóia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiago Gabriel Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Valadares having to interfere. Gerson Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Albertinho Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elder Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Ferraz in the 82nd minute of play forced Caraiuva's goalkeeper Gerson Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FAMILIA TORRECILHAS 4EVER booed when Caraiuva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball.
