Rui Chaves ran back to his position shaking his head. Caraiuva's Rui Chaves got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19thth minute of the game João de Amorim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gela Guela Futebol Clube's Marcel Cosme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gela Guela Futebol Clube's Marcel Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Terra in the 25th minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Albertinho Terra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gela Guela Futebol Clube's Marcel Cosme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Edmundo Prata came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Gela Guela Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Prata couldn't finish the play.
