Giovanni Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Domingues having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Gaucho's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Alves came free, but Ulysses Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Gaucho's Dida Vander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elder Domingues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Gaucho's zone, Kléberson Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulysses Correia came out of the goal and Kléberson Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Alves in the 39th minute of play forced Gaucho's goalkeeper Ulysses Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, cassio ramos 12's César Sabóia got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Dida Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
