FAMILIA TORRECILHAS 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brito Torrecillas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Atlético de La Plata's Artur Lira got control of the ball when Brito Torrecillas tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Brito Torrecillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aloísio Meirelles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Artur Lira made a huge save. When Diogo Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético de La Plata's protests and gave Diogo Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FAMILIA TORRECILHAS 4EVER booed when Atlético de La Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, FAMILIA TORRECILHAS 4EVER's Valdomiro Peres broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Tiago Gabriel Ferraz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Artur Lira, 3-0. Nelsinho Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Sabóia having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cássio Quadros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Atlético de La Plata defense, Tiago Gabriel Ferraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Lira. The Atlético de La Plata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Lira should have stopped the shot. If Tiago Gabriel Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Nelsinho Fontes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Gabriel Ferraz in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Lira saved Atlético de La Plata from getting behind. Brito Torrecillas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Lira having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Gabriel Ferraz in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Lira saved Atlético de La Plata from getting behind. Aílton Mineiro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FAMILIA TORRECILHAS 4EVER's Aloísio Meirelles got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Tiago Gabriel Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Brito Torrecillas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Lira was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FAMILIA TORRECILHAS 4EVER had played much better football throughout.
