Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dinei Chaves took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when Mackenzie College FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mean Machine's goalkeeper Válbson Mandrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Paulo Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Dinei Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mean Machine fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 24 played minutes, when Mackenzie College FC:s Eurico Marques calmly waited for Mean Machine:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Válbson Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vivaldo Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mean Machine's goalkeeper Válbson Mandrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Paulo Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Mandrak having to interfere. Mean Machine's Válbson Mandrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Mean Machine from getting a goal against them. 48 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goalkeeper Válbson Mandrak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Paulo Diniz.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernandão Proença to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Fernandão Proença reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vivaldo Montenegro. The goal made the score 1-1. Serafim Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Montenegro having to interfere. Zézinho Corrêa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Válbson Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Paulo Diniz came free, but Válbson Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Válbson Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei Chaves in the 74th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Dinei Chaves put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Válbson Mandrak. In the 81stth minute of the game Luís Paulo Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mean Machine's Válbson Mandrak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mackenzie College FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fernandão Proença 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Serafim Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Dinei Chaves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Válbson Mandrak was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Joel Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. If Zézinho Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Joel Pinheiro. Dinei Chaves struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Válbson Mandrak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mackenzie College FC.
