Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Juarês Paes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dedê Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Sá in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Régis Sá suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 5 minutes, Mathias Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toronto Team and the Dig F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Diego Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Melo's late challenge caught a Toronto Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Melo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Toronto Team booed when Dig F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Sena hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Pena in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmílson Vides saved Dig F.C from getting behind. When Toronto Team's Narciso Pena in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dig F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Toronto Team's Luizinho Barros got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Dig F.C's Paulo Renato Alcântara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dedê Tande. Dedê Tande yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

In the 53rd minute, Paulo Renato Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Dedê Tande. Toronto Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Paulo Renato Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Renato Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Dedê Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dig F.C. Dedê Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Alcântara in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dig F.C's goalkeeper Edmílson Vides, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Juarês Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Dig F.C's goalkeeper Edmílson Vides had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Pena. José Palmeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Edmílson Vides made a huge save. José Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Edmílson Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmílson Vides was a little too slow when Albertinho Lira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 3-1. Toronto Team's Dedê Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Alcântara in the 93rd minute of play. Fabrício Castro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Toronto Team! Dig F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
