The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Rolinho Compressor B's goalkeeper Beto Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Soeiro. Rolinho Compressor B's Beto Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Rolinho Compressor B from getting a goal against them. Beto Silva came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Beco EC's Leonel Soeiro. But to his dismay, Leonel Soeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Beto Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Branco in the 20th minute of play forced Beco EC's goalkeeper Baltazar Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruy Galvão got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 21st minute, Ruy Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Rolinho Compressor B's goalkeeper Beto Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raúl Ramos. After 32 played minutes, Rolinho Compressor B's Alex Moura shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baltazar Toscano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rolinho Compressor B reached it. In the 36th match minute, Beco EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. When Betão Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Beco EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Quirino couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Leonel Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marquinhos Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Rolinho Compressor B getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Durvalino Carvalho hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Rolinho Compressor B's Artur Fernandes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baltazar Toscano. Baltazar Toscano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Gonçalo Meireles hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
