In the 20th match minute, Prego was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê de Brito to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Prego getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Edvaldo Andrade hit a great ball. Alfredo Botelho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 25th playminute.
