Zé Paulo Paraibano ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the game, Naldo do Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. T. L. G. FL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uz Federais the free kick. When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, Uz Federais's Claudinho Cearense got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Renato Camargo. After 18 played minutes Uz Federais got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Teles. In the 21st match minute, T. L. G. FL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Zé Paulo Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauro Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Camargo having to interfere. Renato Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauro Vianna in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Reginaldo Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. T. L. G. FL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reginaldo Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Paulo Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Renato Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renato Camargo was a little too slow when Lauro Vianna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-0. Renato Camargo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erivaldo Galvão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Eduardo Prado made a kick off. Renato Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, T. L. G. FL's Wanderson Félix got a free kick in the 54th minute. Renato Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Paraibano in the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Reginaldo Ceresso could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which João Pedro Fonseca however easily saved by the left post. Lauro Vianna scored 4-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renato Camargo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute, Lauro Vianna made a precise shot to the right of Renato Camargo. T. L. G. FL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Lauro Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lauro Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renato Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Paraibano in the 89th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Uz Federais had played much better football throughout.
