An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Barral in the 21st minute of play forced AC Catania's goalkeeper Vânderson Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carlos Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When AC Catania's Christiano Sanches in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christiano Sanches to make the kick off. Christiano Sanches's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jefferson Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Fernandão Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Penha having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Lino Barral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hunters Heisz and the AC Catania players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Hunters Heisz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Barral to maneuver through the defense. Fernandão Pirani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Jefferson Penha made a huge save. Jefferson Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Sanches in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Hunters Heisz booed when AC Catania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match Artur de Souza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vânderson Miranda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Christiano Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Penha having to interfere. Fernandão Pirani's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Jefferson Penha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Christiano Sanches was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. AC Catania's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 1-0 became the score in the 87th minute when Lino Barral elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, AC Catania's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Barral came free, but Vânderson Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hunters Heisz fans cheered their team off the field, for while AC Catania had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
