Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Eduardo Prado in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jefferson Penha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reginaldo Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jefferson Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hunters Heisz's Ernani Cosme got a free kick in the 9th minute. Hunters Heisz's Jefferson Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Hunters Heisz from getting a goal against them. After having played for 16 minutes, Carlos Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hunters Heisz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carlos Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Artur de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reginaldo Ceressos short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Jefferson Penha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Reginaldo Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luís Eduardo Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as T. L. G. FL's Luís Eduardo Prado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jefferson Penha. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. Reginaldo Ceresso struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Jefferson Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for T. L. G. FL. After a defensive mix-up in Hunters Heisz's zone, Wanderson Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Penha came out of the goal and Wanderson Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Reginaldo Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. T. L. G. FL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reginaldo Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Renato Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Barral in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, T. L. G. FL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reginaldo Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, T. L. G. FL's Reginaldo Ceresso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jefferson Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 74 minutes of play, T. L. G. FL's Wanderson Félix made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jefferson Penha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute Luís Eduardo Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginaldo Ceresso in the 84th minute of play forced Hunters Heisz's goalkeeper Jefferson Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
